SCA Exemptions

BR-DGE allows you to request an SCA Exemption during authorisation via Barclaycard SmartPay Fuse, potentially bypassing a 3-D Secure challenge.

To send an SCA Exemption to Barclaycard SmartPay Fuse via BR-DGE, use the scaExemption field in your POST /v1/payments API request.
