How Verify works

The way that Verify works is as follows:

1. You submit a Verify request containing a MUT (multi-use token) and an account name.
2. BR-DGE validates that you are configured for BR-DGE Verify and Visa Network Tokens.
3. BR-DGE resolves the MUT and validates that it is active.
4. BR-DGE retrieves the Network Token associated with the MUT.
5. BR-DGE validates that the MUT / Network Token is Visa.
6. BR-DGE maps the Visa response into a normalised BR-DGE Verify response.
7. BR-DGE emits reporting and observability data.
8. BR-DGE returns the Verify response synchronously to you, the merchant.
