Confirming an AFT payment

When you send a payment with the aft object included, BR-DGE returns a processedAsAft field in the payment response, indicating whether the payment was processed as an AFT.

processedAsAft is populated based on the receiving PSP's response, and can be one of the following values:

Value	Meaning
`YES`	The PSP's response confirmed that the payment was processed as an AFT.
`NO`	The PSP's response confirmed that the payment was processed as a standard payment, not an AFT.
`UNKNOWN`	The PSP's response did not include enough information for BR-DGE to determine whether the payment was processed as an AFT or not.

Not every PSP includes this confirmation in its response.
A value of UNKNOWN means BR-DGE could not confirm the outcome from the PSP's response — it does not necessarily mean that the AFT was processed incorrectly.
